About
WoW Forever Talent.
WoW Forever Talent is an independent talent calculator for World of Warcraft: Forever. It is built and maintained by one person; this page explains who that is, how the site works and where its data comes from.
Who runs it
WoW Forever Talent is run by Milo, a long-time World of Warcraft player and web developer, as a personal project. There is no company or team behind it. The site is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.
What the site does
The calculator lets you plan a talent build for each of the nine classes shown in the BlizzCon preview of World of Warcraft: Forever, with the point budget checked at every level. Builds can be saved in your browser under a name and shared as a versioned link. Reference pages list every recorded talent rank, the racial abilities, the account-wide Legacy perks and the baseline ability changes for each class.
How the data is made
Talent, racial, Legacy and ability records are imported from a dataset published under a Creative Commons Attribution licence, then normalized, checked for consistency and re-expressed in our own words. Every rank is labeled as recorded from the preview or as a marked estimate, and the Data & sources page lists the licence, the current data revision and what we changed. Data refreshes are logged on the What’s new page.
How the site is funded
The site is free to use and has no accounts or paid tiers. It is supported by voluntary contributions on Ko-fi and may display advertising through Google AdSense. The Privacy page explains what is stored in your browser, which analytics run and how advertising cookies work.
Corrections and feedback
Spotted a wrong rank, a translation slip or a bug? Write to support@wowforevertalent.com or see the Contact page for what to include. Reports that name the class, the talent and the rank are the quickest to check against the preview.
