Hidden within the Alterac Mountains, Alterac Valley is the home of Thrall's own clan of orcs, the Frostwolves. The Stormpike dwarves have established a foothold in the valley and seek to plumb its depths for riches and links to their ancestral past. The territorial Frostwolves, unwilling to suffer the dwarven incursion, have rallied an army... an army eager for righteous slaughter.

A valley bordering Ashenvale Forest and the Barrens, Warsong Gulch hosts a constant battle between the Horde and the Alliance. Orcs use their Warsong Mill to cut lumber reaped from Ashenvale, provoking the night elves of Silverwing Hold. Eager to aid their allies, members of every race in Azeroth rush to the Gulch to lend sword, or spell, to the conflict.

The Arathi Basin is one of the main staging points of war between the Humans and the Forsaken in Azeroth. The League of Arathor seek to reclaim lost lands for their benefactors in Stormwind, while the Defilers – elite troopers under the watchful eye of Varimathras – seek to sever the vital connection between the Humans and their Dwarven allies to the south.

Quick answers to the limits that matter when choosing a rank, set, or battleground.
What is the difference between Honor Points and Rank Points in WoW Forever PvP?
In WoW Forever PvP, Honor Points buy special items and have a recorded capacity of 15,000. Rank Points advance the rank track, with no recorded capacity. The client names faction kills for Honor and Gadgetzan tasks or battlegrounds for Rank Points. Neither currency has a verified weekly earning rule.
Does a WoW Forever PvP rank unlock grant an item?
No direct grant is established. WoW Forever PvP reward rows store item ID 0, so the unlock does not confirm a direct item grant or vendor purchase. Named sets and older rank gates are separate records.
Which WoW Forever PvP ranks store two unlocks?
4 WoW Forever PvP ranks list two unlocks: rank 8 is Elite Wrist Upgrade and Elite Waist Upgrade; rank 11 is two Black War Mounts rows; rank 12 is Elite Leg Upgrade and Elite Shoulder Upgrade; rank 13 is Elite Chest Upgrade and Elite Helmet Upgrade. At rank 11, the two Black War Mounts rows match different faction race masks; that match does not grant reputation rewards.
Does the client prove that WoW Forever PvP sets are faction-locked?
No. WoW Forever PvP set rows checked here show no race restriction or positive item-level rank gate. Faction words in set names do not prove an equip restriction; vendor conditions still need checking.
How many WoW Forever PvP battlegrounds appear in the client tables?
The WoW Forever PvP client contains 5 battleground map rows: Alterac Valley, Warsong Gulch, Arathi Basin, Darkspear Islands, Battle for Gilneas. Queue rows supply team sizes and levels where stored; they do not verify live availability. Hyjal Crater has a separate arena type.

Wearable set counts exclude 54 unnamed-member rows, 20 unnamed rank-seven rows, and 14 older-ID sets. CharTitles Flags 4 supplies 28 faction titles but no rank-number field. Rank 11 condition IDs 923 and 924 share battleground faction race masks without granting those rewards.
- Honor Points 1792: MaxQty 15,000, MaxEarnablePerWeek 0. Rank Points 3468: MaxQty 0, MaxEarnablePerWeek 0, FactionID 2800. Zero weekly fields are stored values, not measured earning limits.
- Renown - PvP Rank 3473: MaxQty 14, MaxQtyCurveID 102601, description [DNT]. PvP Rank Points 2800: RenownThresholdCurveID 103650, ReputationMax_0 20,000. The 12-point cap curve has unnamed indexes and is not a live cap or a confirmed cost.
- All reward rows have item ID 0. 449 older items retain positive RequiredPVPRank; new pieces store 0. New ItemSparse BuyPrice and SellPrice are 0, so Honor vendor prices remain unknown. AllowableRaces -1 is no race lock; set SpellName and trigger fields are not full tooltips.
