The planner works without an account. Your draft and named builds are stored in your browser when local storage is available.

What is saved locally?

We save the class, character level, talent point allocation and data version. Named builds also contain the name you enter and the time they were saved. This storage is specific to this website and browser. It does not automatically sync across devices.

What is in a shared link?

A build link contains the class, level, talent points and data version in the part of the URL after the # symbol. It does not include the name of your saved build. Anyone who receives the full link can read the encoded choices, so share it with that in mind. URL fragments are not included in the browser’s normal HTTP request to the host.

Deleting a saved build

Open My builds on the relevant class page and use that build’s delete button. This removes the named entry on this device. Your current working draft is separate; Reset clears its points. You can remove all stored drafts and names through your browser’s site-data settings for this domain. Clearing browser storage cannot recall links you have already shared.

Storage unavailable

Private browsing, browser settings or a full storage quota can prevent saving. The planner reports storage failures and continues to let you create a build link. Keep that link yourself if you need to return to the setup.

Website requests and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic and Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session replays. These services can collect page URLs, referral information, browser and device details, and interactions such as clicks and scrolling, and may use cookies. Clarity can capture the page content shown during a visit. The saved-build dialog and feedback containing build names are marked for Clarity masking; we do not send saved build names as custom analytics fields.

Analytics runs on wowforevertalent.com. Your draft and named builds remain in browser storage; there is no account system or server-side build database. The website host receives normal page and asset requests, which can include an IP address, browser information and request time. Game images are served with the website. Your browser settings or a content blocker can limit analytics requests. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Microsoft’s Privacy Statement for their data practices. Following an external source or credit link opens a third-party website with its own practices.
