The cited guides name Garion Wendell in Stormwind for Alliance and Owen Thadd in Undercity for Horde. Use the librarian links above to open the city map. Coordinate reports differ, so check the listed place and the NPC in game.

Does the checklist show a guaranteed route to every book?

No. It groups reported book locations by zone so you can plan stops around your own journey. The map images are zone overviews, and some reports disagree or remain unconfirmed. Read a book’s location notes before making a detour.

Which mark counts toward the next reward?

Turned in. Picked up is a separate mark and does not move the 10, 20, or 25 book thresholds.
